What haircut to choose for a rounder face?

I have an overall oval face, but a bit rounder and a relatively square forehead. At the moment I have really long, straight hair. It's quite fine and difficult to style - it lacks volume and never stays styled if I curl it or dry it with a round brush, no matter how much mousse or hair spray or wax I put in it.


I also have plenty or split ends.
