What is the average cost of a haircut these days?

Franklin, MA Keith Leblanc here and am looking to get a haircut from a licensed hair cutting place. My dad does mine at the moment, but it looks kind of like a bowl right now. I'm looking for more style.

Thanks,

For Men-

a barber is $7-10

A stylist at a regular salon - about $25

(at least where I am from)What is the average cost of a haircut these days?
It depends on how classy or professional the place is. If it's a kid's cutting place or a low ended barber shop (like Great Clips or a family-owned barber shop), it would be on the cheaper end- $15-$25. Professional salon? You're talking $40 plus.

And remember, guy's haircuts should be cheaper than female's haircuts.
Where I live (eastern Kentucky) the average hair cut is between 8-12 dollars.

however, according to an article I found the average price last year was 21 dollars.. wow.

below is the article of a man who paid 800 dollars? for a haircut!! so I guess it varies.
On Average a haircut can cost from $20 to $40. It really depends where you go. My haircuts cost $35. Being a male it probably would be cheaper for you as there is less hair to cut. The costs are based on age and length of hair. Some places are more expensive than others!
it depends were you go

at the hair cuttery there about 15 dollars but if you go to a high end salon they could go up to about 50 dolars
