How long haircut that has flip out ends stays flipped up?

I want to get a haircut that has flip out ends.And I wonder for how long the ends will stay like that (flip out) ?

Hi, if you have your hair razored and the length left it should flick up easily, mine is cut like this and I can flick it up and it stays that way. When you wash it you just blow dry the hair to flick up and you will find it will last to your next wash easily. You need it razored though to take the weight out so that the lengthy bits dont drop out as it is the hair's weight which will make it drop.How long haircut that has flip out ends stays flipped up?

I woud think that after you wash it then it will be straight again and you would have to use a curling iron to get it to flip back up again.
