Is a buzz cut an appropriate professional haircut?

I just graduated from college and will be starting my job as a financial analyst shortly. I recently buzzed my hair for a trip (about 1/2'; long) and would really like to keep it that way. It's so simple and, in my opinion, looks good. Is a buzz considered 'professional enough' or is it just something for kids?Is a buzz cut an appropriate professional haircut?
I don't see the problem with it, plenty of celebrities have the buzz cut.

No problem with that as long as you keep it conservative. Don't try to get a Mohawk for example.
i think its fine for a professional job. its low maintenance and easy so i say keep it like that!
