What is a good medium length haircut for very thick hair?

I have pretty long hair right now and I want a change, but nothing too short. My hair is naturally wavy and it has volume. I want a medium length cut for summer but I don't want it to look too poofy. Pictures and ideas would be great, Thanks.What is a good medium length haircut for very thick hair?

layers!!! long and some shorter maybe like 4 layers in all i got them done to mine and now its easier to do all i do is wake up brush it maybe straighten it for like 10 mins. or curl it and i am out the door.
it would depend on your face shape,if you face is round or oblong you will need a cut with angles or if your face has angles you would need a cut with roundness.
