Unless she's a rebel little girl and wants some mohawk or something there is nothing for a girl that age with short hair. Aside from like a chin to shoulder length bob. My mom cut my hair for YEARS in a Dorothy Hamill cut - ugh. It was horrible and everyone always teased me! She's 12 let her decide what she wants for her hair. My wife made up her mind to take our 12 year old daughter to the barber shop to cut her very long hair very short like a boy My wife and I decide that our daughter will not decide what she haircut she get My wife will be in charge of our daughter haircut.

Please don't cut her hair! If she really wants it short take her to a kids stylist. There are a ton of salons that are especially for kids.
It'll be worth it when you all like her hair and she doesn't hate you for making her look like a boy!

She's 12, let her decide. Also she's at an age where she's going to start to worry about how she looks, spend the money and take her to a real salon. It would be fun for her and she'll feel very special.

it depends on what face shape she has. if it's oval you can do whatever you want to it and it'll still look gr8.
but make sure ur daughter wants her hair to be cut. she probably has limits to how short she wants it and how it looks.
talk to her first and then go to a hair salon and ask them what they think would look good on her.

first of all,did your daughter agree to this? second...a bob would be good or maybe a basic very short haircut...there are videos on youtube if you need more help...and it also depends on her face shape...can`t you show a picture or something to get an idea of what would be good for her?
im 13 now and last year i got my hair cut to my shoulders. my hair is curly so it would seem shorter. if you have straight hair the shoulder lenght should be good to yo shoulders. if your getting your hair cut short like me don't do it in the summer bc then you can't put it up if its hott out. if you get your hair cut short make it so you can put it behing your ears. hope i helped!!!
