What is an appropriate amount to tip for a $60 mens haircut?

This is *WAY* more than i've ever regularly paid for a haircut, but I actually really like the cut and am in a position where the money isn't a big deal. I'm clueless about the tip though. Please help! What is an appropriate amount to tip for a $60 mens haircut?
Probably 10 bucks. But I'll give you a tip -- no more poofy 60$ haircuts. It's not appropriate for a man, and it's driving the price up for us normal gents. What is an appropriate amount to tip for a $60 mens haircut?
The same as for any service received between 15-25% so roughly 10-15 $ depending on how much you enjoyed your experience as well as your cut.
For a so-so job, 5 bucks. For a good job, a nice conversation %26amp; you like the person- $10. .
yIf the owner does the cut, they are usually exempt from being tipped, otherwise $15-$20 for an excellent haircut, less if you are not pleased or they did a sloppy job and one way of letting them know, other than verbally, is like ! or $2. but in all fairness,if it is their first time with you as a client, you should quietly discuss what you don't like about it and give them another chance just as you would like that treatment if it were you.And compassion if it is their first week or so on the job because, in spite of excellent training before they get to work on the floor and develop their own clientele, it is pretty nerve racking. Some people are just hard to please no matter how hard one tries.

If you don't usually afford such high price cuts, go to a place that is not into that. A series on t.v. of a guy starting his own business charged up to $400 for style/cut and now works on models and movie stars. Can;'t remember his name but he was an emotional mess.He really messed up when asked to show his products on QVC as he alone wants to be in charge, period!
I pay at least 20% when I get my hair done, and I really like the job that the gal does. So for your cut I'd pay at least $12.
15% would be a standard tip, so that would be $9. Some would even give $10-15 if they really like it but I would say $9 would be the minimum standard if you like your cut.
the answer to your dilemma is 18-20%. unless they messed it up, in that case ask them to fix your hair under your direction, after that the tip is up to you
