Ive noticed a lot of old women have the same hair, granny hair, cut short and permed with tight curls, whats up with that?? Who started that trend?Where did the granny haircut originate from?
It started in the 1930's, based on the new idea that old women should not wear their hair long anymore. Before that, they never cut their hair and wore it pinned up, but the 1920's brought the fad for bobbed hair among women, plus new technology for permanents. The short and curly style was pushed for old women since a lot of them suffer from thinning hair, and wearing it rail-straight makes that obvious. Curls cover it up.Where did the granny haircut originate from?
I think it's the finishing result of years of products, salon treatment, heat, backcombing, and just in general too much hair handling
actually it has been orginated first from a cool Granny who was a Rapper i guess :D lol aand then oll grannies started moving on her way
